Laurie, there's a bit of DK history behind the spelling of JENIUS.....but I'll be darned if I know it's origins.....I think Laurie or Ricki or maybe F had something to do with it.

Yep, Carol, you are correct. I used to tell my kids all the time they were geniuses with a J. Mainly, I did it because Hayley reacted every single time by saying, "mom, it is spelled with a G." Hey, parents have to learn to entertain themselves sometimes :) Later, I think Ricki and I had to defend our Mensa nominations to F and we started saying we were jeniuses, which we are, by the way :) If there is more to this story, Ricki and F will have to chime in.
