Hi folks. I'm Jonathan and I've just joined the forum.  We will be picking up our new Labradoodle puppy this coming weekend!

My wife and I have had dogs before -- two Malteses we dearly loved -- we got them long before we had kids.  Both dogs have been dead a number of years now -- our children were pretty young when they died.  

The kids, and particularly our 11 year old daughter were dying to get a new dog.  We needed a child-friendly, non-shedding (or, at least, minimally shedding) dog to help manage my allergies.  So...here we are!

We went to visit and play with our pup this weekend.  Below is a quick iPhone shot:
