I made the lemon rinse recipe for softer, shiny hair and I love it!  I thought it might be sticky but it was not.  I just loved the shine.  Thanks for the secret DK  Family recipe!!  LOL!  I just searched Lemon Rinse Conditioner on the site.

Vavavoom! Looking good lily!

Lilly is such a beautiful girl.

Amy, does she smell good too, like a lemon...I would love that?

I gave her the old sniff test but  I did not get a smell of lemon.

Oh how beautiful she looks.... you rock Lilly !  I have to try this :)

Let us know when you try this secret recipe!!  LOL!

I just made some this weekend to use this week on Bruno! Hoping the result are all that everyone says!!  Lily is GORGEOUS!

Thank You, I could see the results once she was dry. Real nice and fluffy and a great shine.

Wow! I'll have to search for the recipe!

Here is a link to the lemon rinse discussion :)

Lemon rinse (Grooming group)

I'm curious as to whether it would do anything for Luna and if using regular bottled lemon juice (from the grocery store) watered down would work just as well.  I guess it wouldn't have the oils from the lemon peel, which might make the difference and give the coat the sheen.

I did read that the oil from the peel helps with the process.

Thank you for posting this recipe.  I do not know how to do that or I would have done it at the start!

Just a thought as well, bottled lemon juice from the store has additives and preservatives. Additionally, because the lemons sit overnight in the water the oils are probably playing a huge part in the detangling aspect of the rinse. It does work great, and it is incredibly easy to make :)
