Hi All
I'm a new Labradoodle member, looking at getting a Labradoodle as a friend for my cute little maltise x.
My kids love the labradoodles, as they look like big teddy bears, and insist that our little girl needs a friend. How are they with other dogs? How are they with active kids?
Look forward to hearing from you all soon

You might try contacting Rutland Manor and Talli Labradoodles since you are in Oz. Generally I have found the Australian Labradoodle to be laid back with a kick of energy that comes in spurts, loving of all that lives. My dogs have never met a person, dog, cat, bunny, hamster or other living thing they didnt like.
Most labradoodles are fine with other dogs. Just be sure you choose a responsible breeder. What KIND of labradoodle are you considering? There are different types and generations and sizes. Here's an article to read about choosing a breeder:
I have a 9 mo. old miniature Australian labradoodle. We got her at 6 mo. old and was not sure how she would take to our almost 10 yr. old collie/terrier. Our older dog had lots of experience with humans but not much with four legged animals. Sydney, the LD cured her of that. Within a short time they were best buds. I LOVE having two dogs, watching them play together and nap together, and our LD is smart, funny, affectionate, energetic but also will sit quietly and play with a toy if you want her to. I highly recommend them as pets. Good luck and welcome to the group. I'm new here and have found people to be as friendly as the labradoodles they own.
