Lola's new vet & first visit
Today we had our first vet appt...went better than I could've ever expected!! It was a first for me taking 2 dogs to the vet!! And a NEW vet too boot!! Not only did Grady Boy love her, Lola did too! Lola's at 10.5lbs and totallllly healthy!!! Thank goodness...have had our first round of shots..more to come in 3 weeks.
Grady Boy on the other hand tested positive for Lyme!!! Started him on antibiotics and He has to go back in 3 wks too! he is a 14yr old shaggy rescue. This has me concerned..he's been on frontline for years..idk how this happened! I do know camping in late October we found a tick...but I don't remember it being attached! Has me a lil nervous...so cross you fingers my Doodle Friends that the pills work!

Good luck with Grady. Just yesterday I found an engorged tick on the floor that must have fallen off one of the dogs. They get Frontline too and it has been frigid here for a while, so go know.

Hope Grady is ok! Hate hearing that about any of our dogs, especially when preventive treatment has been given!

Glad you vet visit went well. It is comforting to know you can trust your vet. Good thing you took Grady along for the visit and I hope he responds quickly and no further issues.

Hoping to hear that Grady does really well recovering from the Lymes diagnosis. That is so scary! You have done all you could possibly do to protect him. Sending you hugs. Happy to hear little Lola is doing well.

Thank you all for the well wishes for Grady Boy!! He hasn't shown any of the Lyme symptoms of the disease, so that is promising!!! One symptom is anorexia....he CLEARLY isn't suffering from that!!!
Again thank you all! And as soon as I hear I will let you all know how his next test comes out!
