Looking for a Goldendoodle Breeder in NC

(I am hoping I am putting this in the right spot...

I am looking to find a reputable breeder, reasonably priced, and close to Cary, NC to purchase a Goldendoodle for my family (well, my husband is apart of this also, but I'm doing all of the work :).  I have searched so many breeders, contacted numerous ones, and the closest I have found (is 4 hours away and out of state).  We have a 1 year old son, so I wanted to avoid driving TOO far.  We are hoping to have one sometime after September.  If anyone can recommend a breeder (or few), I would greatly appreciate it.  I CANNOT wait to have our own Goldendoodle.  I have done a lot of research on them, and I believe they are the perfect fit for our family.  Thank you in advance! :)

I drove 23 hours to get my Labradoodle!. For a friend that is going to become a family member who will live with you for (hopefully) up to 15 years I think that you sometimes have to go through a lot of hoops to find the 'right' breeder.   I note also that you have a one year old so be prepared for what will seem like two babies and all that that entails for some time. Wonderful but exhausting times ahead.  Best of luck with finding your puppy.

Oh my!  Luckily I have found good ones that I like within about 4 hours, however I did find one last night that was only an hour!  I have been in contact with her today and so far I like her a lot.  I hope things work out for us.  I cannot wait to get a goldendoodle for our family.  I have been looking forward to this for quite some time :)  I am aware it will be like having another baby in the house, but I am definitely ready for it.  I know it will get crazy, but I do have my husband that will help when he's home (with both our boy and our dog!) :)

I am in the same boat as you...we live in Charlotte, NC. I will send you a message with my opinions and hopefully you can fill me in on your thouhts. I have pretty much read every website both informative and from breeders and I am obsessed with soaking in all the knowledge and making the right decision!!

Just a note to say, Goldendoodles are worth all the effort to find a good breeder. Can't wait to see photos of you and the puppy this coming fall. Keep up the good work! You are not crazy... you are wise.
