Looking for others who've death with drug resistant Giardia...

Hi there,
I know I've had some exchanges with a few of you on here. But I am looking for people who have fought the battle against Giardia that is drug resistant.
We have been battling Giardia for 4 months. We have never gotten a fecal test that is negative.
We have tried rounds of Metro and Panacur. We've tried Tinidazole, Tylan Powder, probiotics ... My puppy is not reinfecting himself, I watch him like a hawk, i pick every stool up asap, I wipe his rear, we have no standing water or run off where he is drinking, I am cleaning everything. I am curious if there is any treatment that has really worked and knocked the Giardia out.

Any help and or suggestions would be welcome to me or my Vet....

I know this is the best forum group to be asking.... Fingers crossed you guys have some miracle that we don't know about.

Happy New Year gang!
I am praying that 2014 is going to be a year clear of Giardia.
I have decided to hold off a little bit on the ultrasound/endoscopy that would be our next step for Henry to see what is happening in the stomach and intestines. Henry STILL is Giardia positive, I can smell it with every poop I scoop.
Honestly I thnk I am the only one who has been thrilled by the arctic temps... Makes it a ton easier to pick up the poop and I know that the Giardia is not living in my yard anymore. ; )
Henry started to grow a little bit, and he's gained a little weight - my vet has decided we will hit him with a ton of probiotics, lactic acid yeast, Lact-Enz, Gastrex, and another dewormer. He hasnt had any meds since late October.
Since his blood tests came back that there is no immuno issue we are going to try and pump up he immune system and see if he is able to fight the Giardia now that he is getting older and bigger. Henry was 9 months on Jan 4th. Soooo we shall see....
If this doesn't work, then endoscopy is in his future and we will try something else.... I posted some new pics today, and my boy is now 19.5" tall and 33 pounds. He is a fur ball of sheer joy and love!
Fingers and paws crossed that we can knock this Giardia out this year!!!
