Looking to adopt doodle in PA

Hello all,

What a great site! I plan to read and learn as much as I can here. I am excited to find an online community for those who loves these dogs!

I do not have a doodle but am looking for a 1 year or older doodle to adopt. I currently have a non-doodle and love dog ownership, and a doodle would be a great companion, as they'll be able to join in similar activities and be able to keep up with my guy!

I do not have a fenced yard, but the way my house is set up, a dog would have to get out two or more doors in order to get outside, and in all honesty, that's just not happening! Nonetheless, we are looking into adding a fenced area in the spring.

It breaks my heart to see so many adoptable doodles in places like CA that so desperately need a home; I wish I wasn't so far away. I am in the process of inquiring to doodle breeders in PA and neighboring states if they have any adult doods up for adoption or learn of any. My dog must meet the new dog and get along well. I live near the center of the state but frequently travel to the Reading/Pottstown/Lehigh Valley area to visit friends and family (always with the dog in the car!)

If anybody has any advice for me, I'd appreciate it! My husband and I spend many hours a day with our dog, and love being outdoors.
