Hi, I'm looking to purchase a quality orthopedic bed for Paz, who is being such a trooper throughout his chemotherapy. Paz's current bed has bolsters, which he loves, however the "mattress" is beginning to wear. I'd like to purchase Paz a bed with a memory foam mattress and bolsters; I've looked at several Orvis beds which appear to be wonderful, so I'm just wondering if anyone has recommendations regarding quality dog beds, or has ordered a bed from Orvis? Before I incur the expense, I was hoping to get some recommendations or feedback.

Hi Stella, I just ordered the XL for Paz....he will definitely have a better bed than I do!
Paz is about 75 lbs, so it sounds like the XL will be perfect!
Looking forward to seeing a photo of Paz in his super duper bed.
So I ordered the XL Orvis bed for Paz, replete with his name monogrammed on it! I will take a picture of him in the bed when it arrives. Okay, just warning everyone, when you see a picture of Pazzie resting in his new bed, you will all probably think how wonderful that a " labragoat" has such a beautiful bed!!!!! Pazzie is beginning to rock a new look in that he has a few tufts of curls sprouting on the top of his adorable bald head.....it kind of looks like a mohawk going in the wrong direction! OMG, I just love him......move over Kardashians, because Pazzie the labragoat will be the new trendsetter!
Looking forward to seeing that sweet boy enjoying his new Orvis bed.
I think you'll be happy with the XL. Finn is 50# and he has a Large. We got it at the Orvis outlet 4 years ago and it's still in great shape. He likes it and can stretch out. Sometimes he has to share it with Song since she also enjoys it. It's also heavy so he can't drag it around the house like he did with his other beds and he's never tried to chew it -- the way he did with other beds. I think it was a great investment and Paz will love it. You may too :)
