We have been taking it very slowly. Max is just a tiny little thing, only about 1 #. He is about the length of Lucy's snout. Lucy has been very very good with him. I do keep her on a leash. We can only let them together for a minimal time as she wants to play rougher than he can stand right now. He ate some food out of her bowl tonight and she was fine with sharing. I was so proud of her. He will have to grow quite a bit before they could really play together, and only with supervision. What a cutie he is. I am a large dog lover, but I will tell you that I have fallen in love with Max.
Yes, I was worried about him being around Lucy because they live right next door to us and they would be seeing each other, but she is doing very well. We are just taking it very slowly.
Oh my gosh! He is sooo tiny! I'm glad you showed a picture of him with Lucy in the frame, so we can really see the size difference. I'm sure they'll be great friends.
Max is an 8 week old Chihuahua that my grandaughter got. Yes, he is soooo tiny and fragile. He can sit in the palm of my hand. I am so used to BIG Lucy. When holding him you have to be very very careful b/c he wants to jump right out of your hand. He is the cutest "little" puppy I have ever seen.
So cute!!! I bet Lucy is wondering what that little guy is doing around! Max looks like Taquito when he was a young pup! They are great dogs if you socialize them well :)
