Maci is limping

Yogi and Maci were playing, actually very quietly on the floor. Maci starts crying and limping over to me. It's been about 10 minutes now. She won't put her foot down. Just walks on 3 legs, and wants to cuddle. Should I give it some time or take her to a vet ? Experiences, suggestions?

Thanks for asking about Maci. They said X-rays were normal. It was a soft tissue injury and she needed to be quiet in a crate for a week. Haha! Anyway, she's been much quieter than normal, but still a puppy.... I'd say she looks good most of the time, but I see the limp or favoring the leg every once in awhile.
I was very relieved to hear the X-rays were okay.

Leslie~ glad to hear that Maci's issue was a soft tissue injury.  It takes some time for them to recover.  I think Charlie being older understood that he was hurt and would not use his leg and rested for over a week.  His toe was only sprained thank goodness.

What great news.  It is hard to keep them down, but any resting and less jumping will help her heal.

Good to hear that she is okay. Hopefully no permanent tissue damage was done (I doubt it as puppies are resilient).
