We personally love our memory foam dog beds.  It becomes more and more important as our dogs get older.  Cass, my now departed senior, would not lay down to sleep anywhere else.  It truly was more comfortable for her and she would seek it out.

I have a feeling that before they are going to attract many Doodle Mommies they are going to have to come up with some prettier covers ..... the beige is a little boring for me!  I also wouldn't want a suede cover as getting the hair off of it might be a little of a challenge and I also think it would be hot!  That being said, the price for just the cushion isn't bad.  I've priced the cushioning materials to try and make my own beds and this isn't bad.  So the answer may be buying this for the interior and finding a cover that will fit that is much prettier.

We must have been typing at the same time!  I like the idea of the memory foam, but can't handle the brown "pseudo" suede cover.  I hadn't thought of looking in other places for a different cover....that might work.

I was looking at the large bed size and it is 46x27x?.  Most replacement covers I've found are 45x32 or 36.  It seems to be a odd size to try and find a cover for.
