Mid-Westerners please check in...
Everyone okay after the storm? Wondering about our Illinois friends (Karen?). Stormy and windy here with winds reaching 100km but no tornados and so far no big damage here(touch wood) but keeping a close eye as the winds howl around the house.

Thanks, BG. I'm fine, we just had terrible rain, wind & hail. Leslie lives very close to where the tornado hit, but she's fine, as are her home and business. Many were not so lucky. And a Goldendoodle is missing in Washington, IL. :(

Glad you and JD fared okay Karen and Leslie and Halas as well. Michigan was hit bad too according to the news. Terrible news about the missing GD :(

I just keep sharing the missing dogs and cats on Facebook. Our vet opened this afternoon/night and have arranged staffing overnight for pet emergencies or boarding. Another one is bring all of their docs in early tomorrow.
The town of Morton wasn't directly hit, but the whole town is without power. One of my flyball teammates from Morton is staying with us tonight. Her, husband, 3 kids, 4 dogs, hangin out with me, Halas, and Barley.
Some friends in Pekin had some damage to their home, including blown out windows and loss of an outside wall.
One former coworker and one current coworker both had parent's sustain major damage. One is in Washington, and I think her house is destroyed.
News says 47 homes destroyed in Pekin; hundreds of homes destroyed in Washington.
I'll be donating items as soon as they start putting out lists, but I'd really like to get out and physically help with cleanup.
