I spoke with this gentleman this afternoon.  The dog was spooked from nearby fireworks.  They feel someone has picked him up.  He is microchipped.  Anyone see any ads in the next week, please contact this post.

He called the local police.  The vet office is closed.  So are all gov offices as it is  Labor Day.

We need one of those form lists around here---What to do, Who to call, in case your dog is missing. 

I told him I would post it here.  I know they posted on Craigslist, Facebook, and hung posters.  Don't know what else to tell him

I want to say I saw one on Petfinder once-a list. I'll go check there.
