After a long night of throwing up and 2 trips to the vet, My baby Bandit was admitted to the hospital. He has low OBO level to his intestines (i think that is what they said) , he may have intestinal blockage. I should know more in a couple of hours. I am exhausted, I will try to add more later but postitive thoughts for my baby are appreciated.
UPDATE the vet just called. He doesn't seem to have any blockage as the barium fluid test he is going thru just fine but he does have a very irritated esophagus which is why it was hard to determine if he was choking or coughing and he kept regurgitating bile. She said this could be cause by eating a burr, kennel cough, to much upset stomach. I have to go see him at 6:30 after the final xrays and I will discuss with the vet if he needs to stay over night. So this is positive news, hopefully my baby can come home tonight!
So at 4 am we awoke to him making noises like he was choking so jumped in the car and raced to the vet, of course he wasn't doing that once we got there but thought he might have kennel cough. So at 5:30 we were back home and then he kept throwing up bile. By 8 am he had thrown up 4 or 5 times puddles of bile so Back to the vet and that is how it started and leads us to where we are now..my head is clearing, I don't have to think of him going under the knife;)
Thanks for all the kind comments & concern. I have been crying my eyes out thinkin what that boy may of had in his little belly. Relief will come for sure when he is back in my arms. FYI - for those of you following GLADWYN, he IS going under the knife today to lose his manhood, so please think of him pawsitively too! I can't wait to get back to the FUN STUFF on DK!
