My breeder is advertising on puppy find.. Should I be concerned

I just saw that my breeder for the puppy we are getting in a couple of weeks is advertising the same litter on puppy find. We just had a terrible experience with our dog amber that passed away in December. Turned out amber was from a puppy mill. This was devastating to us and our children. I have been very careful, we went and did visit. We met the mom, and saw a couple of the pups. The couple was very nice and answered all of our questions. We could not go where they slept because they had not been vaccinated. I read so many awful things about incidents that happened through puppy find. Should I be concerned. Maybe I am just very nervous because of our past experience from getting our poodle from Petland. Any words of wisdom?

Well I did clarify both parents have hips,elbows, eyes. There was no heart testing:( the grandparents have more extensive testing. Yes, all of the puppies were cute, but from what I have learned from all of your experience ( members of Doodle Kisses) I did feel better as we selected the puppy today. There were things and subtle temperament testing tools that I would have never known. The twins actually picked the same puppy, and it was also the one I had the best feeling about. I have attached a picture. Here we go on this journey, now we can hope for the best and with training etc. we will have a wonderful addition to our family. I did not leave feeling uneasy, I actually felt better than I thought I would. Thanks for all the support! I was very nervous about today!

I'm happy for you things worked out well and that you came away with a "good" feeling! Adorable baby....when do you get to bring him/her home?

We bring Harley home the first week of March. He will be 9 weeks old. The breeder is keeping him an extra week because my husband and I had already planned a long over due get away. I could not leave the country with someone caring for my children and a new puppy. We will pick him up the day after we get back. I have most things ready, just odds and ends to prepare for Harley's arrival. As a family we picked out names to choose from, but the kids were set on naming him Harley today! I'm just glad the twins agreed on everything!! Thanks for all of the support!!!
