Picture me sitting in the recliner usually with Kindle Fire.  Zoey comes up and puts her nose up on the chair to get my attention.

RA RA - Isn't it time for a walk?

Gr - ra -ra - Aren't you listening about that walk?

RA RA!! - Once again concerning that walk

OWL -R-RA-RA!! - I'm serious!

Ok, so then I get up and put her leash on.

Big Huff or snort - it's about time!!!

Come on and tell the truth - Doesn't your doodle talk to you?!!  :^)

Yes, all three of mine talk to me - mostly telling me it is meal or bed time!  LOL

Yes, she does. I can tell what she wants by the way she "speaks" to me. Although, the come outside to play frisbee with me is pretty easy, since she usually has it clenched in her teeth. We say all the time that she talks to us.

What cracks me up are the differences in pitch and sound - just like she is trying to form words.  It makes me wonder what I sound like to her.  lol

Oh yes! Mine talks to me often!!  While playing ball outside, she will often bring the ball half way back to me, drop it and then return to her spot across the yard, waiting for me to go and get it and throw it for her.  When I tell her "go get and bring it to mom" she will bark her complaints until she realizes that I am not going to go and get it.  LOL  She also responds to me with little grunts and groans when I talk to her about everyday things. It's pretty comical.

Yes, Picco is quite the talker!  He also has discussions with my husband at breakfast time.  The growl to each other and it sounds like a real conversation!

That's funny that they growl at each other.  Zoey had hardly ever barked - then we stayed a weekend at my mom's.  Mom made growling sounds at her until she barked.  Now she thinks it's great fun!
