Today was a VERY long day at my local hospital ER. I was waiting for my dad to get admitted.
At one point I walked out of his ER room to call and update my mother.
I headed up a hallway where no one seemed to be around, and it was quiet.
It was then that I turned around and was startled out of my wits by this training dummy laid out on a gurney.
She totally didn't look like she was having a good day at all ! I caught myself laughing out loud at her, and I decided my day definitely wasn't going as bad as hers !! LOL

OMD, Donna, you are right!

Well Ricki, it's obvious that the woman they fashioned that poor dummy after, wasn't having her best day when they picked her !

I think it's probably what we often look like to the EMTs, lol.

Like this and worse Karen! :(

Sheila I hope you at least asked, Annie, Annie are you alright? I hope your dad feels better soon.

Love it Donna......

I am a first aider, can I help?

Ha Ha!!!  "No thank you, I'd rather lie here and suffer!"

OMD!  This thing could give you nightmares LOL Glad your dad is ok.  Stay out of empty hallways :)

Sheila, I hope your dad is feeling better soon!!

We love to play jokes on each other with our practice dummies...We have a baby dummy on our unit (labor and delivery).  We had the dummy wrapped up like a newborn and one of my co-workers acted like she dropped it in the hallway almost giving our Assist nurse manager a heart attack....The only thing she could think to say looking at us was a word that rhymes with truckers.....  it was funny and thankfully no patients or family members were around...  LOL

Sometimes we get desperate to keep ourselves awake on night shift LOL

LOL, Elizabeth!

Nurses do have a different sense of humor, it's the one thing that keeps us sane. LOL, I can just picture this.
