My Hospital Vist

Today was a VERY long day at my local hospital ER. I was waiting for my dad to get admitted.

At one point I walked out of his ER room to call and update my mother.

I headed up a hallway where no one seemed to be around, and it was quiet.

It was then that I turned around and was startled out of my wits by this training dummy laid out on a gurney.

She totally didn't look like she was having a good day at all ! I caught myself laughing out loud at her, and I decided my day definitely wasn't going as bad as hers !! LOL

Years ago I always jumped when I walked into the xerox room where there was some cardboard cutout of a monk. I think he actually came from some Xerox advertising campaign. Since it was a Catholic agency he was right at home.

Sheila, My DD has been in the hospital all week. If I came across that dummy I would have screamed! So glad you got a good laugh in the midst of a trying day. I'm so sorry your dad is struggling and hope he is doing okay by now. You are such a good daughter.

Thank you, F. Stanford Headache Clinic is hospitalizing her for 5 days trying to break her migraine stasis. She hasn't been able to work for over four years due to daily excruciating migraines. Nothing helps so far.
