My pup is beyond awesome!

So, I have have been reading all of the puppy blues and it makes me realize that I truly love Abigail and she is amazing. I just need to brag about my awesome pup and let people know that the puppyhood times can be the blues, but they can also be fun. Yes, she mouths, but I allowed her to for a while and taught her "gentle" now she understands "no biting." I thought it was important to let her explore our hands to learn bite inhibition with human hands. She will still come at you with her mouth, but a gentle or no biting will quickly change her actions. She has learned all of her basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, attention, heel, stand, up, place, leave it) in 2 weeks, now just proofing the not so easy ones and working on length of time in the stay and she is basically potty trained. She will jet for the door when she's got to go, but she hasn't quite figured out that she needs to wait for me to let her out. Now she uses the pee pads if I am not paying attention for some reason and knows to go outside. I will do more confining her to her crate and stick to a strict schedule of feeding and potty times so it can be better regulated. She actually prefers me over my kids most of the time ( which is good because she will be my service dog). She loves her crate, seldom barks or cries, likes to cuddle and is very easy going. She has spent a few hours with me at a skating rink in a backpack, been to costco and target without so much as a peep. My kids eat in the backseat with her next to them and she just lies in-between them and relaxes. I don't know if I totally lucked out, or if my 2 boxer pups made me realize how easy she is! Boxers are far more difficult to me, but oh so funny. Best of all, she sleeps through the night, into the late morning if I allow her to. Midnight is the last potty time and she will sleep until 8am. Perhaps she knows that good rest is imperative to my health?? LOL. Anyway, she is growing at an alarming rate, and is a big bundle of fluffy joy. Everyone loves her!
