dear members

   i thank u so very much for ur support,thoughts n prayers....i know n knew sooner or later the day was going to come.....n even knowing u can never prepare.....when Rusty died a part of me as well went with him,i loved him like no other pet/friend ive ever had...we had many good times together runs in the woods,chasing squirles,some deer n swiming off the boat on the lake......all in all he had a very good life...even though it was so short...n he made my life that much better as well.....so now we will grieve n move on but never forget what we...him n i had...i will have tons of pics from the first day we got him until a few hours before he was called away.....i got up this morning n expected him n Haley to greet me as always...n  he wasnt there...i looked out the window when haley was in the yard n always expected to see them both together there..n he wasnt there...so for now my heart is broken n filled with memories....i will heal...we will heal together....patti, haley n i .....so thank u all again n i will be here as always n for someone else...as u all were for us....here are a few more pics of my best friend.....enjoy him as i have n will........

David, I am so sorry for your loss. I am relatively new on the board, so didn't get to "know" Rusty - and that is my loss. It hurts so much when we lose our cherished loved ones - 2 legs or 4 legs - doesn't matter. As you know, he will always be in your head and your heart. Thankfully, you have Haley to also be in your arms.
