Necco Sweethearts

[Nothing To Do With Doodles]

This has absolutely nothing to do with doodles or dogs for that matter.  But has anyone tried the new necco sweethearts?  Is it just me or are the changes awful?  I bought a bag and ended up throwing it out because they were so disgusting.  Just wanted to see if I got a bad batch or if the changes are really that bad.

I like the "Sweetart" brand. The other ones always tasted like chalk to me anyway, so they must really be disgusting now!

Yes, you can go to the link I posted, and there are also internet candy shops that sell them! There are several different assortments called things like "Loser", etc. LOL!

I just bought some for my grand daughter. She loves them, but then she's all about the sayings. I sort of feel the same way...they don't taste so great, but I'm loving picking through the bag to get the saying I want.

I can't believe that you just wrote this. I bought a bag yesterday, I used to love these and they were just vile....What did they do to all the flavors???...I threw most of the bag away, I always looked forward to them every year at this time, and I was really happy to see them on the shelf, new packaging too, but they are awful...Ya think we should protest and ask for the old ones back, lol?

Regardless of my "weight loss or maintenance" program at the time is, there are three things that I will not go without (1) Valentine hearts (2) bakery cake with butter cream icing for my b-day and (3) the little orange pumpkins or candy corn in the fall. My 3 favorite junk foods and I get sick feeling every time I eat them. You just saved me #1 though because I think I just won't worry about them if they are terrible. I have noticed in the last few years they don't taste as good as they used to also.
