Need Ideas for Future Front Page Slide Shows...

Here's a link to all our past Front Page Slide Show themes...some we repeat every so often, but I'm looking for NEW ideas for the coming months. Check out what we've done...and please make your suggestions here!

Some things to consider
...themes should be themes that are fairly easy to capture/photograph or things that don't involve too much interpretation--otherwise it might be better to just start a thread on a photo theme and have people respond that way.
...there should already be a fair number of photos that FIT the theme on the site -- this means that members wouldn't all have to take brand new photos, but could if they wanted to.

Mine too, and one of the hardest *!#*%!* looks to capture with the camera!

Why is that? They always seem to tilt their straight at the last second. I love the Doodle head tilt.

I agree - its a great expression, but very difficult to capture on camera.

I also like the "Before and After" the trouble is I'm not sure everyone knows how to put two photos together that way. Also unless the photos were uploaded simultaneously it would be difficult to put together two back to back photos (single photos following each other in a slide show) for me as I wouldn't know which is before and which is after if they are not right next to each other in the upload process (not sure if that makes sense).

Makes sense and now that you mention it, I don't think I know how to get them back to back. haha

Good way to practice photo editing. Clark suggested Fotoflexor and it worked to put 2 pictures together for me. We could even have a contest first to get people to try. The only problem I see for me is that it's kind of hard to distinguish before and after when i groom my dogs :)

I know we do it every year but I love the Doodle kisses (Feb 14th), the me and my doodle (s),we have so many new members that repeating a lot of the ideas would not be a bad thing. I also loved the Doodle parts slide.
I love all the ideas that everyone have posted. I love doing the "slide" photo shoots with Jordan.

Oh we definitely need to repeat "Doodle Kisses" and "Me and My Doodle" often... I love those too =)

I really love the Doodle Kisses one too. It is perfect for Valentine's, and a classic because it shares the name of the website, so we really should keep doing that one for certain!
