New Doodle

We had to put our beautiful 9 year old Golden Retriever, Ginger to sleep on Wednesday. She was an amazing dog and Sophie's best friend and companion. Sophie's only 2 and has never been without her "big sister", Ginger. She is lonely and needs a playmate. She doesn't even want to go off the deck to pottie.  We want another Goldendoodle but think we should try to adopt a "rescue dog".

Is there any place to look for a homeless Goldendoodle? Any information would be appreciated. I feel so sad for her.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  Our Sam has been gone almost a year now.  We planned for a second dog and ended up with Pippin just a couple of months after Sam died.  I don't think there is a too soon, or too long to wait.  Follow your heart and you'll know when the time is right, and for the right dog.
