Awe! I love your first picture! You have captured a couple of really good shots of a black doodle - I know, because I used to have a black doodle, Zak, and she was soooo hard to photographe! Welcome to DK and please check out the groups - You will probably be interested in the Photography Group, and of course Puppy Madness, Food Group and Grooming are popular with young doodles! Mowgli is going to be one big doodle! Enjoy !!!!
Thank you! He is he biggest love. He makes me smile everyday. All 50 pounds of him constantly tries to sit on my lap, and of course I let him :) The vet says he's not overweight just gonna be really big. This site is so fun.
What a great name for an adorable pup. Welcome!
Welcome to DK....Mowgli is adorable!
Thanks everyone! Those are just lucky shots with my phone camera. I have actually lurked here for a while before posting so I feel like I know some of your precious pups. Doodles are wonderful! :)
Wow, what a handsome big boy! If he is nearly 50 lbs at 4.5 months, you are looking at probably a 100lb + doodle. Whew.
I know! He is often mistaken for a Newfoundland puppy. When I say nope he's a golden doodle people usually say No Way! We are working very hard right now on not jumping up I have 5 grand children and they don't enjoy it when he does. He gets so excited when the kids come over. Other than that he's been an easy puppy. Housebroken very quickly, kennel trained, doesn't chew on anything but his toys. I have older dogs so I know that has helped him. It is fun to have a community of people to come to to enjoy our dogs.
