New Mini Goldendoodle mom with a few questions

Hey guys! I just got my first doodle about a month and a half ago and I have a few questions! I have  been hearing a lot of stories about people getting mini goldendoodles and they turn out to not actually be minis. Has this happened to any of you? My dog, Banks, is about 14 weeks old now and he is HUGE. I'm not sure how much he weighs now (we are going to the vet Thursday) but he weighed 14.6 pounds at 12 weeks. The vet even told me she thought he was going to be a big dog. How big are your mini's if you have one? Banks is aF1 goldendoodle and I've heard mixed feedback on whether or not he will shed. What do you guys think? I attached a picture of Banks' dad, I didn't get to see him in person so its hard to tell how big he is though. His mom was a golden retriever and it was her first litter!

My mini is 6 months today and weighs 17.6 lb. A mini can grow to be 30lb if i'm not mistaken. :) Enjoy your doodle.. what a ham!!! Here's my baby , she's an F1. :)
