New owner advice?

Wow! Thanks everyone. I am so glad I found this place, as I am sure there will be many questions in the next few months.

We are getting a standard size F1 goldendoodle and we are naming him Max. I was trying to keep it secret from DH and DS until Christmas, but DH was asking too many questions and wasn't buying my excuses. I finally had to confess. They are both super excited. DH only wants two things, a puppy and a baby. I was hoping to give him both, but he'll have to settle for the puppy for now.
