New Parent, just some beginner questions

We recently went and picked out a new puppy. He is an F1 chocolate labradoodle. He is only 4 weeks old at the moment and his hair is not that curly or wavy. Can I expect his hair to get a little more flow to it, or does it look like he will have short hair more like a lab. I attached pictures and hopefully somehow with knowledge or past experiences can help me out.

This is what our smooth-coated goldendoodle looked like at about 4-5 weeks.  Yours is definitely curlier.

Not sure what to advise you, but he is sooooo handsome!

Oh my gosh!  He is adorable! I would suggest that he won't be really curly, but . . . .
