New Puppy Intro

Hi everyone!

This is my first time every signing up for a forum! Figures it would be for dogs ;)  My boyfriend and I just got our new Goldendoodle puppy, Angus, a few weeks ago. He's 14 weeks today! My previous dog of 14 years was a Standard Poodle, so we're still learning about Goldendoodles...and well baby puppies in general, I guess...

If anyone has any thoughts or recommendations about raising our energetic and super smart doodle we'd appreciate it!

This is such good advice - we have realized how much patience (and love) is truly needed. Who knew puppies were so tough..just kidding...everyone knew.

Thank you! Everyone is always shocked and confused when we say he's a goldendoodle. Your little guy is adorable too! I just can't get enough of everyone's pictures here

Welcome!  Angus is precious ( love! black doodles and his name.  Everyone's given you great suggestions.  Once he has his shots, take him with you everywhere you can (people will adore him), and start puppy classes.  Puppy Madness, Food, and Training -- 3 essential groups IMHO. Brag, vent, get help and feel right at home here. Did I mention we love pictures :)

Thanks so much! I'll try to get some more good pictures..it's shockingly hard to get good pictures of black dogs haha. He always looks like a big black fluffball :) I can definitely see more bragging and venting here in my future!
