Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi everyone!
I've been a long time reader! We are finally joining in and getting our first Goldendoodle! We pick up our new puppy this weekend. I've done a lot of reading and research- thank you all for sharing such great information.I would love your opinion on what our little guy's coat and color may be like as he grows up- I have attached a picture we got at 7 weeks. Thank you so much!

He's going to be very doodle-y! He has plenty of furnishings and I predict a long, wavy coat.
Reds and browns usually fade the most. "Bad" blacks can fade to gray, too. The blondes and lighter apricots usually hold their color better. No way to know, color and fading are all genetic, and it depends not just on the color of the parents, but on the parents' pedigrees. But I wouldn;t think your pup is going to be "very" light.
Thank you! And sorry if this is on the wrong section of the board.
It's not at all.
If you want to see comparisons of puppies with similar colors/coats to yours, and how they grew up to look, you might post it in the From Pup To Adult Group. :)
Understandable! We ran into a similar problem with a few names we liked :) Sammy is a standard F1, but should be on the smaller side at around 50-60 pounds (could be bigger, we'll see!)
