New to this awesome group

Hi my name is Bev and I am the proud owner of a golden doodle named Josie. She is 7 months old. We had a yellow lab for 14 glorious years and after losing her in January my son decided (he is 20) that he could not survive without a dog in our home. Against my judgement he found a pet store that sold puppies. I wanted to rescue. To make a long story short I went with him to make sure all was on the up and up and we first met Josie. She immediately settled herself in my lap and in my heart and I knew I was in big trouble if my son didn't choose to take her home. Well he didn't. He chose this little border collie mix that was quite adorable, but not so much tugging at my heart strings like the yellow fluff that was sleeping with her nose tucked under my chin. So I am weak. I am a pathetic weak Mom! We came home with both. Once I made it through the front door without divorce papers waiting for me-the whole family had fallen in love with these two crazy best friends!! Never a dull moment!!
