New upcoming doodle puppy owners

We are going to be proud and happy owners of the goldendoodle puppy soon. We are really excited, as are our 2 boys. We picked a goldendoodle because we want to train him/her as a therapy dog for our oldest. It is an exciting time and we are happy we found your group! Julie

Welcome to DK - this is an awesome group - I have learnt so much here!  Is your picture the puppy you are getting or do you have to wait to find out?  Waiting is the hardest part - I was checking my emails every half hour just in case my breeder posted new pictures of the litter!  Such an exciting time and I bet your boys can't wait!!!!

 thank you Wendy!  no, the picture is not of our puppy... cute though, isn't it. .we can hardly wait for a soft furry friend to turn our lives upside down!

Congratulations, I think you made a good choice. Our new puppy was a therapy dog for a family with a little girl with seizures. I'm not sure what happened exactly and why she was neglected and returned to the original trainer, but she is really very smart and at her young age surprises me with her obedience and willingness to please.
