Saw this post and thought I would share.  Not sure if this involves American retailers, but Costco was mentioned among the Canadian ones.  I have seen these products on the shelves too, very scary....

Another reason not to buy dog food or treats in the "big box" stores, and to only buy the brands on the Food Group's recommended list. And of course, hopefully most DK members know by now to check very carefully that any edible products you give your pets are not sourced in China. "Made in USA (or Canada)" does not mean the ingredients came from the USA or Canada.
