Not a great week for my puppy

Poor Chance. 

First he had a bout of vomiting and diarrhea, then he ended up covered with thorns from weeds during a walk, and finally he (we) learned that he has papillomatosis. 

Tomorrow he will have laser surgery to remove five lesions from his mouth, which will be sent off for path analysis. My vet thinks he will be okay, but she described several of the lesions as unusual and hence recommended the surgery.

Please send my little guy some psychic hugs.  He is such a joy.

Hugs and kisses to you little Chance.  You are going to be just fine...I can feel it!  DJ I know it is hard for you and for me to say to not worry won't do a bit of good.  We are always worrying about our babies.  Gracie Doodle just had a strange thing removed from the surface of her hip and I was a mess waiting for the path tests to come back.  Stitches came out today and she is fine.  It was a calcium deposit from scar tissue left by Rattlesnake vacinations of all things!  We just have to worry...that seems to be what we do best.  I can just feel in my heart that Chance will be fine!

Thanks, everyone.  Chance is sleeping, and I am a wreck :)  I lost my last dog, a standard poodle, to mouth cancer and although there is no logical connection this has raised my worry level.  I do believe, somewhere deep down, that Chance will be okay
