OT-Update on Keller-Sept. 24th

For those of you who donated to Keller's surgery, here is the latest updates:

This is from Saturday when he had his surgery: Heard from the Vet and she did both sides in one surgery!! Right side looks great, left may not hold. Time will tell. The original plan was to do two surgeries. If the left doesn't hold she'll do it again after some recovery time.

And from today: Keller is home!!! And far more active than I ever expected!!! Trying to keep him quiet is going to be a challenge. Vet said not required but I want to give those surgeries the best chance! He did a whole lot of licking on the way home so will be in an Elizabethan collar for a while. Right now he is asleep in my office. When I picked him up at the vet he was so excited he peed all over me and the seat cover so need to go attend to that! Send healing energy if you have some to spare.

Thanks again for helping this sweet guy. I will post another update when I hear more.

Another update on Keller:

Keller had his one week check up and two thumbs up!!!! Doesn't mean it won't let go at some point, we just never know with these. On PPA for the urinary issues, stitches out later this week so he can go up for adoption next weekend!!!!

I am so happy to hear he is doing well! He is such a cutie! Please keep us informed. I lived in NM for over 30 years so it was a pleasure to get to help out a Land of Enchantment doggie!
