Our 10 1/2 month old Bailey has started going to the bathroom in the house again.

Bailey has started going #2 in the house again. She was doing real good, but in the last 3 days she has done it three days straight and today she also peed. We have not changed her food. We feed her the same time as we have been. We are not talking about 6 or 8 hours, it's more like 3 hours after she has been out.

I was also wondering if it could have anything to do with her getting ready to go into heat. We were going to get Bailey spayed after she went through her first heat. The vet recommended it because he said her vulva had not dropped completely. He said it was better for her especially when she was in her senior years so she would not develop urinary infection. Our breeder also recommends not spaying & neutering until the dog is over a year or first heat, so the dog grows to her/his full potential.

(This has changed since we purchased our first doodle Bindi from her in 2009. Bindi was spayed when we got her at 8 months.)

We can not cage her because she has so much anxiety. My husband sleeps during the day so we might try caging her in the room with him if this continues.

I really don't want my other dog Bindi to pick up these habits.

I've read some thing on signs to look for when a dog goes into heat. Some things said they can have accidents but I don't know if they mean #2 or peeing.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
