Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hello all! I wanted to introduce our Doodle puppy Marley to everyone. He'll be 8 weeks on April 8. He's got a mostly straight coat except for his ears and some waves on his chest. We're pretty sure he'll shed plenty but we are ok with that. His eyes are so sweet, we just had to have him. Housebreaking is going well and crate training is a bit of a struggle but we are working on that with classical music and womb sounds. I added some pics below. Thanks for this wonderful forum and website. Lot's of great info.

Marley is adorable! Welcome to the site- you will find lots of great info and support here! :)
Such sweet, soulful eyes! Welcome and congratulations. My pup is 11 weeks old, so I'm just a little ahead of you in experiencing puppyhood!
Cute cute cute! Congratulations! He's going to steal your heart more everyday!
Oh yes.....those eyes!!!! Marley is adorable! If you can place the crate in the area where you can be seen, it might make a difference. When we first got Banjo, I had it by the front door. Banjo cried and cried. As soon as I moved it to a central location where he could keep an eye on me, all was well. Good luck!!
Welcome to Marley & his family. What a sweet face this boy has. Welcome to Doodle Kisses!
I can see why you wanted him - his expression and coloring are wonderful. Welcome to doodlekisses. Be sure to join the puppy madness group.
He is one adorable little guy. I'll be interested to see how he doodles out. Keep the photos coming. Enjoy.
Hello. Marley is adorable-seems like a professional Doodle Model?
:)
I'm a new Doodle mama too and doing the kennel training and using bells on the doorknob. Jack is 10 weeks-F1 Golden doodle.
We have a divider in the kennel and his lovey which is a small blanket that I had made to attach my daughters pacifiers too. I either leave Pandora Classical on or T.V. so far.
He barks at times for couple min. then he is good.
I'm new too the puppy and doodle world but wanted to say Hello.

Thanks Lorie Ann. He does ham it up, at times, for the camera.
Ahhh, crate training...
Our nemesis right now. Marley has had a couple "good" nights where he only cried/barked for a little while. Most nights he's vocal for quite a while. We play classical music and I also have my BT speaker on top of his crate playing "in the womb" sounds from the Deep Sleep app on my phone. We thought it would be a good idea to keep him crated in the utility room where my other 2 dogs sleep. But their presence does not seem to pacify Marley. I have seen that some keep the crate in their bedroom overnight. We may have to try this method as nobody gets sleep when Marley's wailing. Any suggestions would be helpful from the community. I may just copy and paste this into it's own thread for crate training help.
