Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hi- just wondering if anyone here ever bought a leather Paco Collar for their labradoodle. Im thinking of getting one for Seamus who is chocolate and has a wavy coat.  Any thoughts and help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just looked at those-- pricy. My two wear rolled leather collars from Petco all the time and prong collars for walks. The leather collars are cheap and held up well. Mostly collars become invisible with all the hair on my two.

yes- i find that i can barely find Seamus's collar under his coat. they make one slightly raised for dogs with long hair. i agree, its pricey but i like that its made in the USA and comes with a guarantee :)

I have two collars that work for my dogs.  Ned mats so actually I have collars for all my dogs that suit Ned's matting coat.  We have rolled leather collars - the inexpensive ones from PetCo.  And we have water collars that are shiny plastic waterproof, moldproof and so slick that Ned's coat does NOT mat around it.  We have a couple of lovely cloth collars but they can't be worn on a day in day out basis.

Our water collars (hydro collars) are from Hot Dogs All Dressed Up and they have the cutest add on studs. Ned has monkeys and bananas and Clancy has bones and whales.   Here is a link to these: http://www.hotdogsalldressed.com/index.php?option=com_content&v...
