Jack has peed in the house a few times lately. Of course my first reaction is he has a bladder infection again but the last time he went though this phase, I had his urine checked and it was fine. I mean how often can I take him to the vet to get him checked when everything comes out fine?

Jack has been waking me up early morning to go potty, around 6 am, that is after letting him out at midnight. I go back to bed and the past few times I have woken up with a pee pile somewhere, today it was by my front door. Not the door he uses to go out to potty in, and as I was cleaning today, I found another pee spot in my bedroom.

What can be the cause of this??? Should I cut his water off at a certain time? He is two years old. He never used to pee in the house.  Getting my carpets shampooed is not an option for me because of my lungs, and the high chance of mold growing. I can't afford wood floors just yet but pee on the carpet is totally not acceptable.. I am ready to recrate him but I want to see if there is something else I can do or another reason he is doing this...

Anything is possible, and it could be the reason that he is doing it. If so he is in for it, or I am because my mom's puppy is coming in August and will be staying with us for a while!!!

How do you break that habit, if that is what it is?

Maybe he is going through his terrible two's.
Hopefully he will get out of this "phase" I would feel better if I had him checked out especially if he needs a shot anyway. The vet probably has some clue as to why he is doing this. My mom's dog did this when the grandkids had sleepovers at her house also???
