If I ever even so much as had to share custody of Jack and could not have him full time I would go on the run with him!!! We would go into hiding!!!

Two years ago I came very close to divorcing my DH, but the thought of spitting the dogs up was too much.

I'm divorced so not facing having to share Camus.  But -- when my ex and I split up he threatened to fight for custody of our (MY) son so I offered him the house.  Great guy that he was, he accepted my offer and I got the prize, my son Justin!  And, I would have fought for Camus in the same way.

Sounds very similar to my divorce Christine!  Except I bartered soul custody of our girls and he got 75% of the equity when we sold the house.  Funny what things can buy.  I also got the better end of the deal just like you did :-)
