Pet insurance
We are investigating our options with pet insurance. I am thinking about VPI with a $500 deductible. Anyone have experience with this company ? Thanks

If you do a search (box in upper right corner) for VPI Pet Insurance you will see many past discussions. If you do one on Pet Insurance you will get discussions on various Companies. Many of us have Pet Plan but there are those who have other plans. The important thing is to get something and get it now before you have pre-existing conditions listed in your Vet records.

We have had VPI for the past four years for both of our Golden Doodles. Lexi was diagnosed with Addisons Disease and Billy has allergys. We have the major medical plan for both. My Vet bills were over $8500.00 for both in 2011 and I had out of pocket of around $2000.00. They are great, pay a little slow but they have a great plan. I have heard excellent things about Pet Plan as well, but can not even consider with a pre existing condition. I love VPI.
