Pet peeve, literally and figuratively

People come on DK all the time to ask advice. Sometimes they are new and sometimes old members. All fine. But if you come on because your dog is really sick and ask advice and don't give any feedback that is very frustrating. We care about your pet even if we don't know the dog. We like to learn for future reference. If your dog, heaven forbid, died we can understand your delay in responding but otherwise it really is bothersome and downright rude.

I am sure other have pet peeves on DK, feel free to vent.

I sometimes miss post updates if they are posted in the original post because I do not know there has been an update.  I usually make a reply in the post to say:  see update in original post.  We always care about you Ricki (and Tara-bear too).

I agree that posting that you've put an update in the original post is best. That way everyone who is following gets a notice and knows where to look. And someone coming across the post late in the game sees that the issue had a resolution.

Ricki, I always care what you update, but I guess even though I am 1/2 of perfection (get it) I miss stuff now and again :)

Ricki, there are a few people here that always always always notice when I post, it's usually in the middle of the night (like now) because of my new schedule (Laurie, notice I didn't say job), I feel the love from them, but usually I don't expect a reply any longer because my post has come and gone by the time all of you get you non working behinds out of bed all of you wonderful friends wake up in the morning.
