"Every pet deserves a healthy, happy home. This holiday season, we're celebrating giving pets a chance at lifelong happiness. "Chance" is a huggable collectible toy who symbolizes the spirit of the season and the mission to find loving homes for homeless pets. And this particular $5 toy is more than a gift-10 percent of its sales will benefit needy pets in local shelters through PetSmart Charities in the US and Canada. Learn more at petsmartcharities.org.
No matter the festivities, this overstuffed plush toy will be the icon of celebrating the holidays with our pets. Chance comes complete with multiple squeakers in his paws and is large enough to become your child or pet's favorite bedtime pal."
I am afraid to order from the US now. LOL. It is funny I have ordered many things before, and besides the shipping all I had to pay at this end were the taxes. We have 13% tax on everything. The last thing I ordered, a pair of Bogs (boots), I had to pay at the door a $17.00 brokerage fee over and above the 13% tax.... Now I dont know what I have to pay a brokerage fee for and what I dont.
Jack's going to love it Karen! It's a great size too! GC's favorite toys are stuffed animals. Typically we get them at IKEA. When I saw this one today and how great the quality was I couldn't pass it up. Having 10% got to charity is awesome to boot. I think I'll pick up another tomorrow just to have on hand. The only thing I might suggest is taking the scarf off. Gaston loves to eat socks and I'm thinking he's going to wiggle that scarf right off and swallow it whole like he does the socks! LOL
That's even better if it's available in the stores...I'll go to Petsmart tomorrow.
Jack won't chew it up...he's pretty good about that. He might not even play with it, he's as fussy about toys as he is about food, lol. But it's cute, and it's a good cause, and he has a birthday coming up.
Guinness would love it, but unfortunately it will probably be dinner for him. I think I'll give it a try though. Thanks for sharing...it's certainly a great cause.
Ok....here's my update.....this lasted 3 months! For a much loved on, much snuggled with stuffed lovey, this was great! I will most certainly get another one next year! Gaston-Cramer loved it and the bonus was he never swallowed the scarf! LOL
