picture distortion

When uploading pictures to my profiles some load perfectly fine others are all the way zoomed in, up close and distorted.  Is this a problem with the size of file I am uploading or does it make a difference if they are being taken off of my phone? HELP!!!!

No answer for you, but I'm anxiously awaiting responses! I often have pics that will not post in the right direction no matter what I do.... So usually I don't post pics. :-(

I'm having a related issue with photos. When I try to open another person's picture within a discussion, I get a gigantic blown-up portion of the image, but not the whole thing. The only way that I can see the entire photo is to drag it onto my desktop and open it from there. There's got to be a better way!

Just joined doodle kisses and I am frustrated already because I seem to have issues.  The distorted photos, and I can't seem to customize my page, it's crazy.  I know it's not my computer since I just purchased this computer last week and it has all the bells and whistles.  I'll keep trying.

I cannot help with photos.  What can I do to help you customize your page, Eleanor?

If it's your profile photo it might be a combo of size and dimensions.  So if a photo is wider than square or taller than square perhaps it gets scrunched into the square box, but I haven't tried uploading a photo in a while.  See what happens if you crop it first to a square.
