Pink eye?
My dog, Bailey, has what looks like pink eye. I woke up from a nap yesterday and she woke up with me and I noticed she had two puffy pink eyes. She also looks cross eyed. It happened extremely fast, within two hours. I rushed her to the emergency vet clinic that is open 24 hrs, the vet in my opinion was not helpful at all. He said it looks like she got into pestisides or got sprayed in the face. I told him it wasn't possible. He told me to give her benadryl and see what happens. Nothing happened, no improvement at all. It's now been 24 hrs! She is lethargic and is not eating. Tomorrow morning she is going to her normal vet thank goodness but in the meantime I am extremely worried.. anyone else experience anything like this??

My Rylie had a very minor case of pink eye and my boyfriends mom recommended black tea (you can look it up online also for more info about it) we just made some black tea, let it cool off so it was luke warm and then put a few drops in his eye and held the teabag on his eye for a few seconds so the warmth could soothe it. His eye was better the next day. I would still recommend you take your pup to his vet asap, but in the mean time, maybe the black tea will help! :)

Allie has had Pink Eye, they gave us a CREAM (gross) to put in her eye. My Husband and I have a deal. I take care of ears and HE takes care of eyes!

How is Bailey doing today? Any improvement? What did her regular vet say about her condition?
