Piper's snow suit

When Piper my whoodle goes out to play in the snow or even for a quick pee, she comes in looking like a snow man. The snow turns to ice on her feet, legs and stomach and can't be brushed off and she leaves water puddles throughout the house. So I went snowsuit shopping. The snow suits were too hot and bulky so I bought her a mud suit. It has long legs and she can wear it in any weather. Since we live in southwestern Ontario it can get very cold so I bought her a sweater to wear underneath and of course boots. I have to admit I don't put it on all the time as its a process, but it sure does make things dryer when she comes in.

How adorable. There's no way that I could get my guys to wear that - but I sure understand your frustration with the wet. It has been raining here for days and our backyard is a mud pit. Needless to say, I am thankful that I have tile Flores rather than carpet. I mop several times a day.

I know when my dog goes out in a lot of snow and gets those horrendous globs of snow embedded in his coat, I just lay out throw rugs and place him to melt it all out on those.  

For me, and my dog, it is a lot to put on a suit each visit outside.

Like I said, they melt, but your dog is cute in his suit

It is a lot of work. I only out it on her maybe once a day. I mostly got it for her for walks. I've gotten more relaxed about the snow. I give her a quick run off, wait for it to melt then dry her off again. Yesterday she had big ice balls so I put her I the shower. Lol man she's as much work as a baby.

Yes, she is so black. I can't see her when she goes out at night, I'm thinking about getting a collar that has a light on it so I can find her, lol. My other doodle is tan, so they make a good couple.

Oh we have one that we use at the cottage where it is very dark. Picked it up at Princess Auto for cheap and it has worked great for two years now.

Piper looks like a regular ski bunny! We are in Sarnia. I think you have been getting hit with much more snow than us thus far.

Yes we have a lot more snow than you, we have a couple of feet. The snowmobiles were out in full force yesterday cause it was so beautiful. Piper loves the snow, it's fun to watch her jump and then dig her face in it.
