Poodles need homes!

I know there are some of you on here who are poodle-y doodle lovers, and I just had to post a note from the Humane Society I volunteer for.   Anybody looking to adopt a cute little grey poodle!  We've got two!  They were given up by their owned who neglected them to the point that they had to be immediately shaved cause the mats on their feet and body were so dense.  Also they were infested with fleas...

We're in New Castle, PA, which is an hour north of Pittsburgh, PA.  Hope these guys find homes soon!

They're very pretty poodles, or will be when they get some proper care. Sweet faces. In my area, they'd be adopted quickly. The little non-shedding dogs fly out of the shelters!

It's true. I've been volunteering there for several months now and the little cute ones do go pretty fast. It's the big slobbery mutts that I try to train on a leash and give some attention to that unfortunately don't find homes fast enough. We're not a no-kill shelter, because we take anything and everything - so I understand that dogs will have to be euthanized from time to time... And it just breaks my heart when people overlook the big calm, scruffy, senior dogs and go straight to little puppies...
