Yesterday, Huff was playing with his big, red Jolly Ball
He was running back and fourth in our shop when one of his nails got caught in the grate of the drain in our shop. It almost broke off and it is hurting him a lot today. I think his nail is dying and is going to fall off but for now it is still hanging on. He has been in a bad mood today and yesterday. Today, a bulldog jumped on him and he kind of snapped which he never does. I think he is in pain. He doesn't want to put a lot of pressure on that paw. This week, he has had his ear issues (by the way, his ear is getting better. I don't know what it was. It got better before we got to take him to the vet. Weird, right?) Now he has this nail issue. What do you think we should do about this nail issue? What would you do? Poor Huff:(

Taylor...have the vet give Huff a complete look over. You are paying for the office visit so have his ears checked out and any other concerns you have while you are there for the toe nail. I always make a list of things I want checked on Gracie Doodle when I am going to the vet. It doesn't cost any more unless some type of medication, tests or treatment are necessary. Let us know how what the vet said.
Poor Huff! I hope he gets some relief.
Huff's grumpiness with the bulldog is likely the pain, like you said.
I once took Porter to the dog park when his tail was sore from over-chewing (thank God that habit was short-lived) and he was a grumpy @$$ to a couple dogs so we left. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they'd been near his tail, and it wasn't that he'd developed a behavior disorder.
Oh...poor Huff!
That nail must hurt him a lot...
I'm glad that you were able to get a Vet appointment today...to get his nail and ears checked out.
Keep us posted on how he does...
Sasha sends Doodle Hugs...to help get him through his day!
