possible problem with growth plate? front legs, lower joint

hi....my almost 5 month old puppy's front leg (lower joint) appears large....he has no pain and it doesn't restrict his activity....wondering if anyone's puppy has had a problem like this? vet will be taking x-rays next week...

I'm not sure how large you are talking, but I can tell you that AnnaBelle's look large as well, but all of them look large and her feet look large.  We were just thinking she will be growing into all these things that look large right now.  Is one leg different?

Doesn't look much different from other leg and when I looked at pics of other doodles I do notice some have the same. Vet made me nervous. Said could be growth plate and might need surgery. I just thought it might b from his puppy stage?
