Privacy, Just an idea.

People might want to send their phone #s, email addresses or any personal
information privately to a group leader, friend or whomever rather than
posting it publicly in a group, blog or discussion. It not only appears
there but on the main page as well. All in all not something that seems
prudent. (BTW, I have a son constantly reminding me you all might not exist. I'm not sure if he thinks I exist, which, I guess might mean he doesn't  )
I had originally started this as a blog but at the request of OFL (Our Fearless Leader) I have moved it here.

People might also want to set their profile page to private, so that only members of DoodleKisses can view their page.

Yes...or even only friends on DK.

Also recently two members got a little nervous when they realized their DK profile came up when they Googled their name.  So...dont use your full name if you don't want to appear in a Google search.

Hehe, here my opinion as being one of the mysterious non-existing DK members :)
I would never think of posting personal information in a comment or blog or asking someone for his information that way.
We all do have the nice feature of the inbox, so you can send this information by private message or ask other members by private message for their email address and then share your information outside from DK.
As being one of the few very active members from Europe here on DK it wouldn't really matter if you all knew my address unless you would all decide at the same time to organize a trip to Europe and pay me a visit lol.
But in case anybody is indeed coming over to lovely Amsterdam feel free to contact me privately by message and you will have your sightseeing guide booked for sure - you can let your son know: I really do exist :)
